技職院校學生，未來國家經濟的重要支柱
為向先進國看齊，我國教育部近年著手改革技職教育。官方數據顯示，目前有超過10萬名學生爭著申請就讀總共只有2萬1000個學額的技職學院，而這樣熱烈的現象是前所未有的。

唸技職學校，畢業後出路廣

人力資源部技術發展局(JPK)總監拿督彭紹良指出，國家未來的經濟倚重高技能的熟練工人，經濟轉型計劃所創造的330萬個就業機會，其中超過40%就是需要這些人才。

人力資源發展基金(HRDF)首席執行員阿里巴達魯丁指出，很多人认为唸技職教育不如唸大學，可是在德国·，60至70%的學生選擇技職學校，畢業後出路寬廣，失業率也低。因為技職教育，而成就德國成為工業強國。

技職教育逐漸受到政府重視

政府已意識到若要成為先進國，不能只依賴廉價勞力，而是必須大量栽培能應付高科技工業的熟練工人。有鑑於此，技職教育日漸受到政府重視。

根據教育大藍圖，政府的目標是在2015年之前，將修讀技職課程的學生比率，從目前的5%提高至10%。

所謂行行出狀元，在這個滿街都是大學生的時代，即使技職教育出身，也未必會被比下去。相反的，在我國邁向先進國的路上，技職院校培訓出來的學生，將是國家經濟的重要支柱。
